Set off on a journey on a relaxed river cruise at sunset, admiring the lush, jungle-like riverside landscape as the city disappears behind you. The cruise will be followed by an adventurous night city tour, which will let you see some of the famous sights along with the areas not familiar to the tourists.
The speedboat will bring you to an old area of Saigon, where you can see a mixture of architectural styles, urban sceneries combined with historical objects. You will pass Nha Rong wharf (The Dragon house) built in 1863 by French colonialists, where now Ho Chi Minh Museum is located. You will see Saigon Port and observe the daily life of city inhabitants.
Many small bridges across the canals will attract your attention. The most famous one is Cau Mong (Rainbow Bridge) built in 1893 by Gustave Eiffel, 7 years before his famous tower in Paris.
You will also visit Mieu Noi floating temple, built in 18 century in the middle of Vam Thuat River, which is considered to be one of the most unique architectural works in Vietnam.
At night, when the city cools down, hop on a comfortable motorbike and have an exiting ride around Saigon’s streets packed with vendors, food stalls, multicolor lights and happy crowds. You will stop by the statue of a Buddhist monk who burned himself in the centre of Saigon protesting against the prosecution of Buddhists in Southern Vietnam in 1963.
A choice of a cozy Ban Xeo place, a fine dining Vietnamese restaurant or a live music venue will be offered you for dinner. After a delicious meal stop at the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral, enjoy a refreshing journey along the canal and discover the hidden alleyways of the “Little Tokyo”, a Japanese area of Saigon.
